Soon, works will begin in the parks of the neighborhoods El Retiro and San Isidro, where similar improvements will be made to offer safer and more functional spaces. "The delivery of these rehabilitations represents an important step in our commitment to provide quality public spaces for all residents.
As part of a public space rehabilitation program, the new phases of renovation in the Foresta and Valle Antigua parks have been delivered, with work aimed at improving accessibility, safety, and functionality of these sites for the citizens.
These works are part of a municipal program that, in recent months, has rehabilitated more than 15 parks in different neighborhoods, with the aim of improving the quality of life for residents by providing suitable spaces for recreation, sports, and community interaction.
In Foresta Park, the works included leveling the terrain, renovation of children's playgrounds, and improvements to sports courts with the Policourt system. Meanwhile, in Valle Antigua Park, pavers were placed to improve mobility, as well as exercise equipment and urban furniture.
Upcoming parks in El Retiro and San Isidro Luis Villalba, in charge of the General Directorate of Parks and Public Spaces, pointed out that these projects will continue in other areas of the city. "We have worked hard to create a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment where families can enjoy moments of recreation and community interaction," commented Luis Villalba.
